Before we bought our own place we spent nine years on four different ranches including the Rex Ranch in Lakeside Nebraska and Sitz Angus in Harrison Montana. Being independent and self motivated, we decided it was time to do our own thing. After experiencing and learning many different ways to do things, we've settled into our own ranch. We have a deep love for agriculture and Red Angus cattle in particular. It is a continual learning and growing experience as we run a ranch with a young family. It's a lot different working cattle and teaching children at the same time than it is working with a bunch of cowboys with all their experience and know how. We knew all along that this is the way we wanted to raise a family. It brings even greater satisfaction knowing we ride for our cattle, our land, our brand.

We have sacrificed and worked very hard to get where we are today. We know you make sacrifices every day to keep your operation going. It is our goal to give you the quality genetics you need to improve your herd year after year. But not only that, we want our cattle to stay in your herd longer, improving your bottom line. To do that you need cattle that are efficient and work for you in your environment. Our cattle go to work every day. We supplement along the way when the environment and mother nature can't provide. They are moderately framed and have very low ME EPD's so they won't break the bank when you do have to feed them! After weaning, our yearlings gain weight on native Sandhills range, developing slowly and maturing naturally.

Safety is of upmost importance to us. Our kids spend a lot of time around our cattle. Their safety is always number one on our minds. Therefore your safety is number one. We do most of our cattle handling horseback, but we also at times use dogs, and four-wheelers. We try to keep everything as low stress as possible, both for the cattle and the kids! We believe this promotes a more gentle animal, and happier kids!

We wouldn't be where we are today without our faith in Jesus Christ. There have been many times we have felt His guiding and protecting hand as we have accomplished things with our young family that would make some adults cringe.  We know that we can do all things through Him.
